During the last couple of years, Instagram has managed to grow from a photography sharing application to one of the most popular social media apps available on the market. With over 600 million registered users, and over 300 million daily active users, Instagram has become the leader of social photo sharing applications, as it is used throughout the world.
In a recent research conducted by the folks at Website Builder, the nationality percentage for the top five countries accessing Instagram has been determined. The first place clearly belongs to the United States, with 19.22% of the app’s users living there and followed by Russia, with 8.84% of Instagram’s accounts belonging to Russians. The third place on the list belongs to Brazil, with 5.43%, the fourth place to Turkey with 5.4%, and the fifth place to the United Kingdom, accounting for around 3.97% of Instagram’s accounts.
